I just got tickets to see these boys rock it up with Gaslight in Milwaukee. I find myself driving to milwaukee for shows a lot lately. It is a ton cheaper than Chicago too.

For those of you that have not heard the Menzingers new album "Chamberlain Waits" it is hands down one of the best albums of the year and worth your time.

upcoming albums, this week i think or next

This is my shitty, Sunday post that has little to no value other than just my short list of upcoming albums that I am excited for.

The Riot Before "Rebellion"- There is a lot of comparisons to Against Me! for this band, but that is not a band thing at all. Folky-punk at some of its best.

Sara Blackwood "Wasting Time"- As lead singer of rockabilly band Creepshow, Sarah has developed a strong roots sound to her solo stuff. Her previous album was great so I am looking forward to this new one.

The Menzingers "Chamberlain Waits" after hearing the new single as i talked about in an earlier post, I can not wait to hear the new album.

Thank you for reading. Music makes up such an important part of my daily life. It really is my true passion. There are far more great things out there to treat your mind and your ears to than what you hear on the radio. The internet has made accessing music so much easier and allows all of us to experience bands that we would have probably never heard of otherwise. I spend a lot of time looking for, reading about and listening to new and old bands, familiarizing myself with back catalogs and new releases. I hope to be able to share some of that with everyone else.
