New Iron Chic Album, as you may have heard about from this blog yesterday

<a href="http://ironchic.bandcamp.com/album/not-like-this">Cutesy Monster Man by Iron Chic</a>

holy hell, this is a fantastic album. There are few bands that can encapsulate the strength and energy of a live show into a studio album. This is something Iron Chic have been able to do since their first demo ep got burned and shipped out to those of us that sent the $3 in. Absolutely great songwriting from a band that is doing it the right way. You can tell, this is a band that writes music for the love of music, not to follow the trends and get "the kids" interested.

There are a few songs that have showed up on their previous outputs, but really, songs like "Timecop" are so well written and performed, having multiple copies is not a bad thing by any means. I honestly listened to it twice since i got in the car to come to work. Thanks to the player at the top of the page, you should be listening to it now too!

It is good to see a band that has a unique sound and is a strong "Band" as a whole produce such great music. That raw power of a live show, without being a live recording.

I am reminded to early Gaslight Anthem in regards to the sense of importance this music has. I feel like I am in on a secret that I am just waiting for it to explode and be in everyone's ears.
