I LOVE dealing with labels directly. Not only can you usually get albums early, they usually send you something free, have sweet promo deals that include lots of shirts or buttons or other cds, plus you are getting things from the source, not some major chain that only gives back a cut. Also, if you are like me, big stores do not often carry what you are looking for and the indies all closed down close to you.
So, that being said, I am posting links to some of my favorite places to get digital downloads for good prices, in some cases free. I don't have the time to highlight everything, so spend some time looking and listening and let me know what is worth snagging.

jumpstart records -cool releases, recently opened up for donation based downloading, each month they have cool free shirts and albums, you just pay for shipping
